The White House

 The Design theme and approach is “LIGHT”. Light in brightness, Light in color and light in design elements. This is inspired by the challenge of the building. It was lack of light.

 The Design solution was to create each space with light. This can be seen as skylights, added glazing at front façade and large glass windows and doors are used. This concept also created more ventilation.

 White is used as it creates a clean and bright outcome. The play of mirrors and glass give an illusion of inter-relational space to the long and narrow house.
